From the Alli Diet Plan book, page 262. It is 4 servings in the book but I divide it into 3 parts instead.

Recipe Ingredients for Alli Pasta Carbonara

8 ounces spaghetti
4 ounces turkey bacon
2 tablespoons minced garlic
1 cup frozen peas
3 large egg whites
1 large egg
1 cup 1% milk
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Recipe Directions for Alli Pasta Carbonara

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions; drain and return to pot.

  2. Meanwhile cut bacon into 1-inch pieces and cook it in a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat, until crisp. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute. Add peas and heat through. Transfer to pot with pasta and toss.

  3. In a medium saucepan, whisk together the egg whites and egg; whisk in milk and nutmeg. Season with salt and pepper. Whisk gently over medium heat for five or six minutes, until thick and creamy. Pour over pasta and toss. Sprinkle servings with cheese and fresh parsley if desired.
