Recipe Ingredients for Alla Checca

3 tomatoes
2 cloves garlic
1/4 cup fresh basil
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon parmesan cheese
1/2 lb pasta

Recipe Directions for Alla Checca

  1. Combine tomatoes, garlic, basil, and olive oil in a non-metal bowl. Stir in salt and cover with plastic wrap.

  2. Allow to sit at room temp for at least 2 hours, or as long as 10 hours.

  3. Cook pasta in a large pot of boiling, salted water until al dente. Drain. Pour uncooked sauce over hot posta, and toss. Add grated parmesan cheese.
