Recipe Ingredients for All-American Baked Beans

1 pound navy beans, dried
8 ounces bacon
1 cup onions, chopped
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
2 cups ketchup
6 tablespoons maple syrup
6 tablespoons molasses
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Recipe Directions for All-American Baked Beans

  1. cook beans.

  2. saute bacon, then add onions and garlic.

  3. Combine beans and sauce ingredients in dutch oven. Stir well.

  4. Cook in 300 degree oven for 2 hours. Remove cover, cooking an additional 15 minutes until sauce is thickened.
