Recipe Ingredients for Aljotta (Fish Soup) a la Mariel

250 grams Seafood Mix
50 grams Rice, White, Long-grain, Regular
1 Potato medium (2-1/4" to 3-1/4" dia) Potato, Flesh And Skin
50 grams Peas
1 medium (2-1/2" dia) Onions
1 Serving Vegetable Stock
1 glass (3.5 fl oz) Wine, Table, White

Recipe Directions for Aljotta (Fish Soup) a la Mariel

  1. Dry fry chopped onion

  2. Add wine

  3. Add diced potato and peas

  4. Season with chili flakes, oregano, salt, pepper and a selection of other herbs (e.g. mint, marjoram, tarragon)

  5. Add vegetable stock cube and top with about 1 ltr of water

  6. Add seafood and rice

  7. Simmer for about 15 minutes or until cooked as liked.
