Alfredo Sauce Recipe

I'd never made alfredo sauce but coupled it with some blackened chicken and Shiritaki noodles for a very satisfying low-carb meal. Delish!

Recipe Ingredients for Alfredo sauce

1 cup half and half
1 cup heavy whipping cream
3 tablespoons butter
1/4 cup onion
2 garlic cloves
3 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon shredded parmesan cheese
1 salt and pepper to taste

Recipe Directions for Alfredo sauce

  1. Add butter to saucepan & sautee onions.

  2. Once onions are transluscent, add garlic

  3. After 1 minute, add remaining ingredients

  4. Cover and simmer, stirring occasionally for 20-30, or until sauce is reduced.

  5. Serve!
