Goes well over light flakey fish & pasta dishes. You WON'T miss the fat!

Recipe Ingredients for Alfredo Sauce (Low-Fat)

1 tbsp I can't believe it's not butter spread
2 tbsp minced garlic
1 tbsp whole wheat flour
8 oz fat free half and half
2 oz 1/3 fat cream cheese
1/4 cup grated parmesian romano cheese
1/4 tsp sea salt
1/4 tsp pepper

Recipe Directions for Alfredo Sauce (Low-Fat)

  1. In a non-stick saucepan, add butter substitute and garlic.

  2. Saute for 30 secs. Whisk in flour, then slowly whisk in the half and half.

  3. Cook, stirring continually, until slightly thick, about 2 mins.

  4. Whisk in cream cheese and parmesian until smooth, about 1-2 mins.

  5. Add salt & pepper. Remove from heat and cover until ready to serve or freeze for later!
