Very Low calorie alfredo sauce, compared to that made with cream. Lots of Garlic!

Recipe Ingredients for Alfredo sauce, low calorie

2 cup almond Breeze Original
1/2 cup Reduced Fat Parmesan cheese
2 Light Original Swiss Spreadable Cheese Wedges
6 cloves of Garlic, mashed
1 tbs basil
1/2 tsp salt
2 tbsp cornstarch

Recipe Directions for Alfredo sauce, low calorie

  1. In a small bowl add 1/4 cup of the almond breeze and 2 tbs of the cornstarch, mix until well blended. Set aside.

  2. Spray a medium sauce pan with Olive oil non-stick cooking spray. Gently sautee the garlic, adding a tbs of broth or water if it starts to burn. Once the garlic is softened. Add the remaining 3/4 cups of almond breeze, Parmesan cheese, laughing cow wedges and basil. Cook on medium until cheese is all melted. Add remaining Almond breeze and cornstarch mixture. Cook until thickened. Serve
