Rachel Rays low calerie Alfredo Sauce is very good with high fiber pasta. I use corn starch instead of flour to make the roue. It is a bit faster to make into a sauce.

Recipe Ingredients for Alfredo Sauce low calorie

1 tbsp buttery spread
3 tsp garlic, minced
1 1/2 cups chicken broth, low sodium
1 1/2 tbls corn starch
2 tbls water
1/3 cup fat free milk
1/2 cup parmesan cheese
1/2 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
1 tbsp light cream

Recipe Directions for Alfredo Sauce low calorie

  1. Melt spread in small sauce pan

  2. Add the garlic and toast to golden brown

  3. Add 1/2 tsp Garlic herbs spice to add flavor

  4. Add chicken or vegetable broth

  5. Add the milk

  6. Then mix in a small bowl corn starch and water

  7. Pour in the corn starch mix very slowly into the broth

  8. Wisk while poring in corn starch unit thickens. You may not need all of the corn starch mixture.

  9. Then add cheese - continue to wisk

  10. Bring to a boil and then simmer on the stove.

  11. Add Salt and peper

  12. Wisk every once and while to make sure everything is in corporated.

  13. Make high fiber Ronizoni smart pasta to go with the sauce
