these cookies have molasses instead of applesauce. 1 egg instead of two egg whites. 1/2 cup oatmeal instead of 1/3. 2/3 cup raisins instead of 1/2.

Recipe Ingredients for Alexa's Version of Cooking Light Oatmeal Cookies

1 cup flour
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup molasses
1 egg
2 tablespoons margarine
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
1 1/2 cups uncooked quick oats
2/3 cups raisins

Recipe Directions for Alexa's Version of Cooking Light Oatmeal Cookies

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

  2. Combine flour, cinnamon, baking powder, baking soade and salt in medium bowl and set aside.

  3. Combine brown sugar, margarine, egg, molasses and vanilla in large mixing bowl.

  4. Slowly add flour mixture.

  5. Drop by the teaspoon.
