Quiche with spinach, bacon, zucchini

Recipe Ingredients for Alesia's Quiche

4 medium Egg, Whole
4 oz Heavy Whipping Cream
0.25 cup Spinach
41.483 oz Green Zucchini
2 oz Onion Red
2.2 skillet cooked slice Berkshire Extra Thick Cut Nitrate Free Bacon
2 oz Colby
1 cup Organic Unbleached White Flour
2 oz Hard White Whole Wheat Flour, Organic
1 stick Butter
1/4 tsp Sea Salt
15 grams Cane Grains Sugar

Recipe Directions for Alesia's Quiche

  1. Pate Brisee

  2. Combine 1 cup of unbleached flour with 1/4 cup whole wheat flour in a large bowl

  3. Chopped 1 stick of butter put in freezer to chill for 5 minutes

  4. Once chilled, combine the flour and butterin food processor, once it looks like corn meal add about 1/4 cup of ice water, make a ball of dough, put on a sheet of plastic wrap on both sides, press down firmly creating a disc and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

  5. Roll out dough, make sure to have additional flour. Place rolled out dough in pie pan.

  6. Quiche

  7. Combine eggs, cream, frozen spinach, chopped onions, chopped zucchini and shredded cheese.

  8. Precook cooked bacon add to egg mixture.

  9. Pour egg mixture in the prepared pie crust and bake at 350F for 35-40 minutes
