Adapted from Alice Waters description of Aigo Bouido. Made this version more complex, because, yes, I am feeling under the weather. You should consider adding a single bay leaf. I did in this recipe, but didn't include it in the ingredients, because Calorie Count doesn't seem to be able to figure out what a bay leaf is.

Recipe Ingredients for Aigo Bouido

2 fl oz chicken broth
3 cloves garlic, crushed
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp thyme
1 tsp of shallot (dried herb)
1 dash of white pepper (to taste)
1 dash of black pepper (to taste)
1 dash of salt (to taste)

Recipe Directions for Aigo Bouido

  1. Combine all ingredients in a soup pan, fill remaining space with water, and bring to a boil.

  2. Boil for 15 minutes.

  3. Serve.
