Recipe Ingredients for Aglio e Olio Sauce

1 c. Italian olive oil
8 cloves garlic, peeled and thinly sliced
1 c. water
1 1/2 tsp. fresh parsley, finely chopped
1/2 tsp. oregano
1/2 tsp. freshly grated pepper, black
1 tsp. salt

Recipe Directions for Aglio e Olio Sauce

  1. In a saucepan, saute the garlic in oil over medium heat, until garlic is golden brown.

  2. Add water and simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  3. Add parsley and seasonings; simmer uncovered another 10 minutes.

  4. Combine thoroughly with pasta before serving.
