Whole grain muffins with Agave Nectare

Recipe Ingredients for Agave Muffins

1 cup White Whole Wheat Flour
1 cup dry Old Fashioned Quaker Oats
1 tsp Kosher Salt
1/2 teaspoon Baking Soda
1 teaspoon Baking Powder
2 large Egg, Whole
8 oz Agave Nectar
8 oz Plain Nonfat
1/2 stick Butter
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
1/2 cup, halves Pecans

Recipe Directions for Agave Muffins

  1. preheat oven to 400

  2. oil or line muffin pan

  3. chop pecans

  4. sift together dry ingredients

  5. whisk together wet ingredients

  6. quickly combine wet into dry

  7. add pecans do not overstir

  8. evenly distribute batter into pans

  9. bake 12-18 minutes
