Generic Veggie Omelette, sauteed peppers, onions, mushrooms, with cheese, sour cream and olive garnish.

Recipe Ingredients for Adelle's Veggie Omelette

2 large Egg, Whole
1/2 cup, sliced Peppers, Sweet, Green
1/4 cup, sliced Onions
23 grams Peppers, Sweet, Red
24 grams Cream, Sour, Cultured
1/2 slice (1 oz) Cheddar Cheese
3 slice, medium (1/4" thick) Tomatoes, Red, Ripe
2 tbsp Sliced Olives
1 1/2 1tsp Vegetable Oil, Canola
1/4 cup mushrooms

Recipe Directions for Adelle's Veggie Omelette

  1. slice peppers, mushrooms and onions into half inch pieces.

  2. Whisk the eggs together with a little water.

  3. In a large pan, sautee vegetables in half the oil. set the veggies aside.

  4. Return the pan to the stove, add the remaining oil.

  5. After the oils is warmed up, add the eggs in a thin layer.

  6. When the egg is close to being done, add the vegetables in a line down the middle of the pan.

  7. Flip up one half of the omelette over the vegetables.

  8. Hold the pan at an angle to "roll" the omelette up and then slide onto the plate.

  9. Sprinkle the omelette with the cheese, drape the tomato slices over the top, cover those with the sour cream and olives.

  10. Server immediatly, serves one.

  11. This is how I imagine the restaurant prepared the omelette based on me eating it! :-)
