Recipe Ingredients for Acorn squash stuffed with turkey and parmesan

2 acorn squash, halved and cleaned
16 oz extra lean ground turkey
4 oz parmesan cheese
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper, ground

Recipe Directions for Acorn squash stuffed with turkey and parmesan

  1. prepare squash by cutting of a small part of top and bottom, clean out seeds with spoon, stand on baking sheet and season.

  2. Mix ground turkey, seasonings and parmesan. May add bread crumbs if desired

  3. Place turkey meatball in each squash half, top with parmesan if desired.

  4. Bake at 350 degrees for approx 1h, until turkey cookd through.
