Acorn Squash with Ginger and Nutmeg Honey Sauce

Recipe Ingredients for Acorn Squash with Ginger and Nutmeg Honey Sauce

24 ounce acorn squash, cooked
1/4 cup honey
1 tbsp unsalted butter
1/8 tsp ground nutmeg
1/8 tsp ground ginger

Recipe Directions for Acorn Squash with Ginger and Nutmeg Honey Sauce

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

  2. Fill a cake pan with 1/4" water.

  3. Cut squash in half. Scoop out seeds and stringy membrane.

  4. Place squash cut-side down in water and bake for 30 minutes.

  5. Meanwhile, mix remaining ingredients together.

  6. Remove squash from oven. Turn squash over and spread sauce over inside of squash.

  7. Return squash to oven and bake for 25 minutes or until tender.
