Recipe Ingredients for Abby's Chicken Gumbo

2 cups minute rice
1 lb. chicken
1 1/2 cups frozen corn
1 cup sweet green pepper
1/4 cup onion
1/4 cup celery
8 oz diced tomatoes with green chilies
8 oz tomatoe sauce
1 dash celery seed
2 teaspoons garlic salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/4 teaspoon chilli powder
1/2 teaspoon paprika

Recipe Directions for Abby's Chicken Gumbo

  1. make rice according to directions.

  2. Chop chicken, onion, sweet green pepper, and celery. Throw into pan to begin cooking. Add cooking spray for help, then poor in diced tomates with green chilie, tomatoe sauce, and seasoning, and cook for about 30-45 minutes on a low simmer. Serve over rice.
