This is ripped off of Good Eats. I really don't like the taste of soymilk when it's trying to blend with other flavors, so I use whole milk (yum). AB recommends any dark juice (could use cranberry instead...). Other fruits that are good in this are bananas, blackberries, or whatever else strikes your fancy.

Recipe Ingredients for AB Smoothie

4 ounce whole milk
4 ounce pomegranate juice
4 ounce strawberries
4 ounce blueberries
4 ounce raspberries
4 ounce peaches

Recipe Directions for AB Smoothie

  1. If you're using frozen fruits, start about 8 hours before you want to blend (trust me, it's easier). Put all ingredients in your blender pitcher and leave it in the refrigerator until you're ready to make it.

  2. When blending, start slow then increase the speed. Continue to blend for 1 1/2 to 2 minutes. Make sure you don't lose the vortex in the middle while blending. If you do, slow down the speed until you see it again. This will make sure your smoothie is nice a smooth!
