Recipe Ingredients for AA's White Bean Dip and Spread

2.5 cup Beans, Navy, Mature Seeds
0.25 cup Lemon Juice, Canned Or Bottled
1 tbsp Olive Oil
1 Teaspoon Thyme
3 clove Garlic
0.5 tsp Salt Substitute
0.25 tsp Pepper, Black
50 grams Olives, Ripe, Canned (Small-extra Large)
2 tbsp Parsley
0.5 cup (8 fl oz) Water

Recipe Directions for AA's White Bean Dip and Spread

  1. Put beans, lemon juice, oil, thyme, garlic, water, salt and pepper in a food processor and process until smooth.

  2. Add diced olives and parsley and process untill evenly distributed.

  3. Transfer the spread to a covered container and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving to allow the flavors to marry and deepen.

  4. Water is added to facilitate pureeing the beans.
