Recipe Ingredients for Aarti Paarti's chicken recipe

1/2 pound sweet potatoes
2 tbsps Extra-virgin olive oil
1 tsp thyme, leaves stripped
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
3 tbsps butter, softened but not melted
1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom
1 large orange, zested
2 teaspoons grated ginger
2 breasts of chicken , on the bone

Recipe Directions for Aarti Paarti's chicken recipe

  1. preheat oven to 400 degrees

  2. mix butter with orange zest,cardamom, thyme and ginger.

  3. put one tsp under the skin of each breast half and rub around

  4. put potatoes on baking pan

  5. place chicken breasts on a rack above the potatoes on the pan

  6. season with salt and pepper, drizzle breasts with olive oil

  7. bake for 40-45 minutes
