Good for a slow cooker, or simmer for 2-3 hours. Simple, hearty stewed beef.

Recipe Ingredients for Aaron's Stew Beef and Rice

3 lbs. stew beef
1 large chopped onion
1 can beef broth
2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
4 cups water
9/10 oz. Lipton Onion Soup Mix
1 tbsp corn starch
5 cups cooked rice

Recipe Directions for Aaron's Stew Beef and Rice

  1. Trim beef and cut into bite sized cubes. Brown beef, add onion and cook until onion is slightly translucent.

  2. Add broth, vinegar, water and soup mix. Bring close to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer until beef is tender. (2-3 hours.)

  3. Thicken with corn starch.

  4. Serve over hot cooked rice.
