These are quick and easy to make.

Recipe Ingredients for 60 minute rolls

5 cups flour
1/2 cup water
1 cup milk
2 tablespoons yeast
3 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup margarine

Recipe Directions for 60 minute rolls

  1. mix all 3.5 cups flour and other dry ingredients in bowl (including yeast)

  2. Warm all liquid ingredients in pan including margarine to 120 degrees. Margarine doesn't have to be completely melted.

  3. Gradually mix in wet ingredients on speed 2 with dough hook. Add additional flour 1/2 cup at a time. Mix until dough clings to hook and cleans bowl (about 5 minutes) then continue to kneed with hook 7-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.

  4. Shape as desired.

  5. Raise in greased bowl 15 minutes.

  6. Divide in half. Shape into two 12 inch rolls of dough. Cut rolls into 12 pieces and place in muffin cups. Cut with scissors into 1/4's. Let rise in warm place about 15 minutes. Cook in 425 degree oven for 12 minutes.
