Soft inside and crusty outside. I really like the texture of this bread. Flavor is medium.

Recipe Ingredients for # 6 Low-Fat Crusty Whole Wheat Bread

1 1/4 cup water
3 tbsp prunes, minced
2 1/4 cups bread flour
1 cup whole wheat flour
2 tbsp whole wheat flour
3 tbsp nonfat dry milk
1 1/2 tsp salt
2 1/4 tsp dry yeast

Recipe Directions for # 6 Low-Fat Crusty Whole Wheat Bread

Add ingredients to bread pan in order listed. Set on dough cycle. When done knead with @ 1 Tbsp flour and shape into a loaf. Put into greased loaf pan and let rise in a warm place for about 45 minutes. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 - 40 minutes.
