Recipe Ingredients for 4 item Wheat Bread 1.7CPG 48CPO

1 package yeast, active dry
2 cups water, warm
4 cups flour, whole wheat
1 tsp salt

Recipe Directions for 4 item Wheat Bread 1.7CPG 48CPO

  1. Dissolve yeast in 1 cup warm water. Let proof for 10-15 mins.

  2. In a large bowl, sift and combine flour and salt.

  3. Combine yeast mixture, flour mixture and remaining water. Knead. Add additional water over time in teaspoons until kneading produces a smooth surfaced dough ball of even texture throughout.

  4. Divide if desired, making sure not to leave folds or other stops in the surfaces of the separated portions.

  5. Place dough on lightly spray oiled baking sheet, spray dough with oil, cover with towel and let rise in a warm place 2 or more hours.

  6. Spray dough surface lightly with water. Bake at 350 degrees F for 45 minutes.
