I use 2 types of syrups, one on each slice, for variety. The regular pancake syrup is lower calorie, but the agave syrup is slightly lower on the glycemic index, and better for diabetics. Use either or both as you please.

Recipe Ingredients for 255 Calorie French Toast

2 egg whites
2 oz skim milk
1 teaspoon honey
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
2 oz wheat bread
1 dash vanilla extract
1 teaspoon syrup
1 teaspoon agave syrup

Recipe Directions for 255 Calorie French Toast

Heat up a nonstick skillet. Mix together the first four ingredients and place 1 slice of wheat bread in the batter. Once it soaks up the batter, put it in the skillet and flip until lightly crispy on the outside. Do the same for the second slice. Pour agave syrup on one and pancake syrup on the other. Eat and enjoy! You're losing weight AND enjoying french toast :-D Who could ask for more?
