Recipe Ingredients for 15 Bean Soup

20 oz 15 bean soup
15 oz Petite Cut Diced Tomatoes
20 oz Ground Turkey Italian Seasoned, Lean
1 1/2 cup onion, chopped
1/4 cup lemon juice
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 quarts water

Recipe Directions for 15 Bean Soup

  1. Soaking: Place beans in a large pot, cover with 2 quarts of water. Allow beans to soak overnight or at least 8 hours.

  2. After soaking, drain water, add 2 quarts of water

  3. Bring beans to boil, reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 2 1/2 hours.

  4. In a skillet, saute onion, garlic and sausage until sausage is browned.

  5. Drain excess grease and add contents to beans along with tomatoes, lemon juice and cajun flavor packet. Simmer another 30 minutes.

  6. Salt & Pepper to taste.

  7. Yield approximately 3 quarts. Serves 14-16.
