Recipe Ingredients for 13 Bean Chili

2 cups dried beans, Bob's Red Mill 13 bean Soup Mix
1 pound lean ground beef
2 medium onion, copped
2 cloves garlic
16 ounce tomato sauce
2 tablespoons chili powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 pepper to taste

Recipe Directions for 13 Bean Chili

  1. Soak beans overnight or soften by boiling five minutes and allowing to soak at least one hour. Drain and cover with water and simmer until tender. (about 3 hours)

  2. Brown ground beef and drain. Add to beef onion and garlic as desired, tomato sauce, chili powder, salt, pepper and bean mix.

  3. Simmer 1 hour.
