Chewy and filling. Great with soup or with sugar free raspberry preserves.

Recipe Ingredients for 1 Point Rolls

1 c warm water
3 T Splenda
1 pkg yeast
1/4 c Egg substitute
2 T non stick spray or PAM
1/2 t salt
3 c flour

Recipe Directions for 1 Point Rolls

  1. Mix water, Splenda and yeast. Add egg substitute, Pam & salt. Mix well.

  2. Add flour and mix. Roll out onto floured surface until about 1/2" thick. Use a glass or cookie cutter to cut out rolls, 2- 3" in size. Place in sprayed pan.

  3. Let rise 2-1/2 to 3 hours.

  4. The Pam replaces the butter in a traditional bread recipe. So you might not up the points much by using butter, or even a reduced fat butter.

  5. I sprayed the Pam into a measuring cup just as a means of collecting it and suprisingly it looks like whipped butter.

  6. Play around with it and figure out what works best for you and the points you want to spend.

  7. Bake 350 degress, 25 minutes or until brown.

  8. This recipe easily makes 15-20 rolls depending upon size. I used a 3" cutter and got 15 rolls.
