Chicken veggie soup, you can add noodles or rice but they aren't factored into the recipe calorie count based on a 2 cup serving

Recipe Ingredients for 1-2-3-4 chicken rice soup

5 pounds chicken
2 cups chopped onion
3 cups chopped celery
4 cups sliced carrots
1 pound corn
1 pound beans
1 pound peas
42 oz chicken broth
2 cups brown rice

Recipe Directions for 1-2-3-4 chicken rice soup

  1. put 5 quarts of water in a stock pot

  2. put in whole chicken, onions, celery and carrots - add seasoning to taste

  3. when chicken is done - removed and cool - take meat from bones and skin

  4. put meat back into stock pot, bring back to a boil add corn, beans and peas

  5. cook until veggies are done

  6. add noodles, dumplings or rice but the calorie count will have to be factored later
