How quickly does the body absorb dietary fat?
Asked by glowypop on Jul 23, 2009 in Nutrition

The body can absorb 10-15 grams of fat per hour; however, the speed of fat digestion and subsequent absorption depends on several factors including a person's usual fat intake, the size and composition of the meal and whether the digestive capacity is impaired by disease or medications.  Over the course of one day, a healthy person can absorb up to 600 grams of fat with 95% efficiency.

Is It Possible to Go Natural?
The side effects of allergy medications keep some people from using them. Natural remedies can be a great alternative, but some are more effective than others.
