In the immediate moment my food attitude is pretty good. I recorded everything 6 of the last 7 days and the totals were acceptable those same 6 of the last 7 days.

Exercise is going well too. I work alone, so I don't have to stay socially acceptable all day (read that as "it's OK to stink). So I have been working out for the first 10 minutes of my 15-minute morning break, the first 20 of my 30-minute lunch break, the first 10 of my 15-minute afternoon break, and for 40 or 50 minutes right after work. I's workng well for me to spread it around the day.

Maybe. Give it a try.  Different veggies seem to crisp up differently.

I don't know. Kale has a pretty unique flavor, doesn't mean there won't be something just as good ... just not the same.

I tried spinach but it was not as good.

I missed getting this into last week's too... (recipes)

I got Kale in my CSA box and was about to chop it up for a smoothie.  I tasted it and it actually was a lot yummier than I had ever thought it was. Then I remembered hearing from several people about how they like kale chips.  So I looked up a recipe and tried it.

You remove the leafy parts of the leaf from the "spine" (I saved the spines and used them too in a broccoli-kale omelet). Toss 1 head of kale with 2 tbsp of olive or canola oil, sprinkle a little salt, place tehm on a baking sheet in a pre-heated 175 degree oven for 20 minutes, flip them over, bake 20 minutes more.  They were very tasty and I will probably make them again if I get kale next week.

My wife and I have been caring for an 86-year-old man with dementia for about 8 years.  Clark died peacefully on Thursday. He leaves a hole in our lives.
