Adding lemon to water helps it to hydrate your body faster.
I don't know that it helps weight-loss or not, but it's certainly healthier than coffee and many teas, especially when you think of the cleansing process, and our bodies being all clogged by toxins. I suppose if our colons are clean, and everything moves how it should, one might see a few pounds come off...
a little bit of lemon wiht water is pretty refreshing... that's about it though. as far as helping with hydration, your body can only absorb so much water at one time, and the only thing I know that affects hydration is the temperature of the water.
As long as you're not talking about some crazy concentration of lemon juice...
If you're talking about the lemonade diet... it's pure BS... drinking water will satiate hunger, and therefore you just won't eat... drinking plenty of water will always help detox your system, that's why every nutrition specialist will tell you to drink lots of water. nothing special about the lemon other than a good source of vitamin C.
