I thought that natural peanut butter was supposed to be a lot healthier for you because it is just peanuts and salt = unsaturated fats. But when I compared the calories of it to the "normal" peanut butter (like Jif) it turns out that Jif has less calories and is ranked a C on here while natural peanut butter is a C- "normal" peanut butter is full of saturated fats. So which is really considered healthier?

As a diabetic health conscious person, I'd say that the one without trans fat and added sugar is healthier. So, natural!
My nutrionist has been eating Jif for decades. She is all about natural and/or organic foods, but buys Jif and has it on her toast everyday for breakfast. I say get whatever tastes better IF the nutrition contents are virtually the same.
The number of calories doesn't tell you if it's healthier. I agree about the trans fats and sugar. If you see "partially hydrogenated" in the list of ingredients, don't buy it.
Peanut butter is one of those foods that is good for you, but high in calories, so portion control is crucial.
I don't need my peanut butter to have added sweeteners.
I don't need my peanut butter to have hydrogenated oils.
I don't need my peanut butter to have added salt.
Personally, I look for peanut butter that's just .... peanuts. Of course, almond butter and cashew butter are also nice options, too.
The most important thing is to read labels and make informed decisions about what you are choosing to eat.
Natural! For me, once I tried the natural, organic stuff I couldn't go back to Jif or anything like that! And the kind I get has added flaxseeds and stuff, too which I love.
Look at the ingredients. That is what makes it healthy. I use naturally more peanut butter. Has some sugar and honey. Just a little bit. But it has omega 3 fats and also flax and wheat germ. Lower in calories than Jiff.
