how long will homemade salsa last in the fridge?

It has tomatoes, onion, jalapeno, and cilantro...Any approximations?  I made about a pound and could freeze some if necessary, but I'd rather not for whatever weird reason.

sounds yummy...if it were in my fridge, it would last about 5 minutes Laughing

Sorry I don't have a real answer for ya...

I made some in December and it's still good.
Ok great. I just wanted to make sure that the answer wasn't "3-5 days" or something like that. Thanks!

It might get yucky if you freeze it.  Some sort of citrus, like lime juice might make it last longer, but it should keep a month or so.

I would eat it on everything...my favorite is a fresh salsa omelette

It will get watery and the onions and jalapenos will get a little soggy after a few days, but I'd say it will stay good for 2-4 weeks.

Make sure to use something acidic if you want it to last longer!
