Some meals in my new diet suggests avocado. Unfortunately, I do not like the taste of avocado.
Can anyone suggest an alternative food that has roughly the equivalent fat, protein and calorific values?
Hummus, chickpeas, cashew nuts?

Definitely hummus. It is another food that contains healthy fat, yet spreads well on anything (as avocado does). I must say that I also used to dislike avocado, but the taste certainly grew on me.
Hummus is great and really simple to make yourself!
